FORUM RULES
Member Conduct and Etiquette
1)
Be respectful at all times. It is one thing to argue a point, but it is another to name call. No flaming or Harassment will be tolerated on these forums. All users are given equal rights and treated with respect. We encourage debate, as long as we maintain a high quality standard of etiquette.
2)
No profanity will be tolerated on this board. Any attempt to circumvent the profanity filter will result in action against your posting status.
3)
You will not post in all caps. It is considered SHOUTING. It is rude and annoying to users of the board. If you post in all caps it is likely that a moderator will delete your post. We also ask that you keep font to a normal size. Any post with large font may also be removed.
4)
You will not use the board to post any information you know is false or misleading. In addition any post that is inaccurate, vulgar, hateful, harassing, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of privacy, or in violation of any other rules will be removed.
5)
In addition we reserve the right at our discretion to remove any post for any reason at any time. We will not delete posted content indiscriminately, however we reserve the right to do pretty much whatever it takes to maintain the integrity of our message board.
6)
No posting or linking to pornographic materiel.
7)
No posting, or linking of any pyramid schemes. This includes chain letters or tag games.
8)
No posting links to any illegal material. Posting a link to illegal software, viruses, worms, spyware, video files, or unauthorized music will not be allowed. If you violate this rule you will be banned.
Moderation Policy and Rules
1)
BFS is under no obligation to moderate this forum. If we fail to enforce these outlines rules, it does not waive our rights. We moderate when necessary and at our sole discretion.
2)
Moderation is not up to debate. If a moderator moves, removes, or alters a post for any reason it is final. There will be no debate on the forum about the moderator decisions. If a user brings such action up in a post, that member will be met with a ban from all BFS forums. We are not a democracy, however if you feel that the power is being abused, feel free to e-mail BFS with any questions regarding our policy. Once again keep in mind that any vulgar or otherwise threatening e-mail to BFS administration will be treated with the same result.
Account Info
1)
Each member can have only ONE account, username, or alias.
2)
Creating a second account will result in a ban from all forums.
3)
Do not misrepresent yourself, if you intentionally lead users to believe you are someone else by closely copying a username, you will be banned.
Copyright and Legal Matters
1)
Do not post your personal information. Do not post personal information of others.
2)
Observe copyright laws when posting on BFS. If you do not own the material do not post the full article on the board without first obtaining permission from the source. It is often OK to post an intro to an article, credit the source and post a link. It is your sole responsibility to make sure you do violate the rules of another. If you do so, your info will be removed from our forum.
3)
All posts are owned by their author. By posting on BFS boards, you grant BFS permission to copy, transmit, display, reproduce, edit, distribute, or reformat any post. You grant BFS the right to sublicense these rights and to do so without charge or cost to BFS.
4)
It is your responsibility to know the laws regarding posted content. If you are not sure that you have permission to post any information or article, DO NOT POST IT. You and You alone will be legally liable for any actions you take that could be deemed illegal or any violation of an individuals right you are found to have violated.
